Warranty Information
1. Warranty Coverage:
Each individual manufacturer of mattresses or other purchased products may provide a limited warranty on its products to safeguard customers against manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials, as specified on the law tag accompanying the product.
2. Manufacturer's Warranty:
Customers are advised to refer to the manufacturer's warranty information provided with the product for details on coverage, terms, and duration.
3. Claim Process:
In the event of a defect covered under the manufacturer's warranty, customers should contact the specific manufacturer of the purchased product for assistance with warranty questions and inspection procedures. The manufacturer's representative will determine warranty coverage eligibility, not Sleep Shop Mattress.
4. Warranty Limitations:
Sleep Shop Mattress does not have the authority to alter or extend the manufacturer's warranty terms. Customers must provide the original sales receipt for warranty claims, and any staining or soiling of the product may void the warranty.
5. Warranty Exclusions:
Clearance, outlet, display, floor models, or pre-owned items will not carry a warranty from Sleep Shop Mattress or the manufacturer. Customers with extended warranties through Firm Care, or other provider, should retain proof of purchase for warranty claims.
6. Warranty Claims Process:
Customers with warranty claims for outlet or adjustable bases covered by an extended warranty should contact the warranty provider directly. Proof of purchase for both the item and the extended warranty is required for filing claims.
7. Customer Responsibilities:
Customers are responsible for maintaining the law tag that accompanies the product, as it contains essential information for warranty validation. Prompt reporting of any defects or issues is crucial for initiating the warranty claims process.
8. Transportation and Service Costs:
Customers should note that the manufacturer's warranty typically does not cover transportation or service costs associated with the warranty process. The warranty is limited to the replacement of defective pieces only.
